Greek Cruise Itinerary
DAY 1: MARINA ZEA, ATHENS - KEA.
Embarkation at Marina Zea port between 14:00-15:00. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink during your smooth check-in. We set sail from Marina Zea to Kea via Cape Sounion. Leisurely time to explore Kea's tiny port Coressia after dinner. Dinner on board, overnight at sea to Delos.
DAY 2: DELOS - MYKONOS.
Breakfast on board. Morning arrival at the island of Delos, the mythical birthplace of God Apollo, a Unesco World Heritage Site of unique energy. Optional tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos. Midday sailing to the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, afternoon at leisure to explore the island Mykonos. Enjoy a sunset drink at Little Venice, photograph the iconic windmills or simply explore the swirling pathways of the white-washed Chora with its many elegant boutiques, cafes, restaurants. Overnight in Mykonos.
DAY 3: MYKONOS - SANTORINI.
Breakfast on Board. Sail to Santorini early morning. Optional excursion from the island capital Fira for a guided walk through the narrow pedestrian streets. Visit the famous archaeological sites of Akrotiri. Continue by bus to the northern coast admiring views of the sea to the picturesque sites and mesmerizing Oia village with magical views over the Caldera. Experience the world famous Santorini sunset before returning aboard for our overnight sail to Crete.
DAY 4: SANTORINI - RETHYMNON, CRETE.
Breakfast on Board. Morning arrival at Rethymnon, Crete. Optional tour to the Prehistoric Minoan Palace of Knossos to visit the archaeological site. When completed the tour will proceed to a traditional Cretain Taverna in the area of Heraklion where some leisure time will be taken before returning to Rethymnon. Overnight at sea.
DAY 5: RETHYMNON, CRETE - KYTHIRA.
Breakfast on Board. Late morning swim with an afternoon arrival at Kythia. A less known island of a gem now fast becoming a favourite among visitors to Greece. Evening at leisure to visit the picturesque main town of Chora and experience the subdued charms of this peaceful island. Overnight in Kythira.
DAY 6: KYTHIRA TO MONEMVASISA ONWARD TO NAPPLION.
Breakfast on Board. Early morning sailing to Monemvasia. Discover a remarkable medieval fortified town, with time at leisure to explore the uniquely perserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture and experience the beauty of the natural setting. Depart for Nafplion in the early afternoon, with a swim stop enroute to Nafplion. Overnight in Nafplion.
DAY 7: NFPLION - MARINA ZEA, ATHENS.
Breakfast on Board. Optional tour to Mycenae home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. Visit the remains of the glorious city including the Palace and the Tomb of Agamemnon. At the end of the tour a short guided walk in the historical centre of Nafplion, first capital of modern Greece with its dominating castle walls, old house and picturesque narrow streets. Afternoon departure for the island of Hydra to explore this picturesque port town. Captain Farwell Dinner. After midnight arrival at Marina Zea, Athens.
DAY 8: MARINA ZEA , ATHENS.
Disembarkation after breakfast.
Please note: the order or content of your itinerary may be amended due to adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Occasionally, due to operational difficulties, a change of vessel can occur. However, the sightseeing itinerary will remain the same.
