Built in 2003 and renovated in 2011, the MS Fernao de Magalhaes sails through the beautiful landscape of Spain and Portugal on the Douro river. It provides modern, well-appointed accommodation and facilities including a lounge bar, gift shop, lift, panorama bar and a large sun deck with a swimming pool. The food served on board is excellent and includes an extensive buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner of French inspiration along with Portuguese and Spanish courses. Dining

The cruise is on an All Inclusive basis including an extensive buffet breakfast and a 3 course set menu for lunch and dinner with a French influence as well as regional specialities and international dishes.

Drinks are included during meal times (local beer, local wine, water, fruit juice, tea & coffee) and drinks at the lounge bar (excluding champagne and wines from the wine list) from midday to midnight.

During the day, comfortable and casual attire is appropriate, whereas in the evenings the dress code is smart casual.
