Deluxe Cruise Split to Dubrovnik Itinerary
DAY 1 - SPLIT
Transfer from Split airport to Split harbour for check in from 2pm. Settle into your cabin and then there is a guided tour of Split which has an abundance of ancient Roman architecture and the superb Diocletian Palace. After the tour, return to the ship for a welcome meeting and cocktail reception. Moor overnight in Split.
DAY 2 - SPLIT – (BOL) HVAR
Morning departure to Brač Island where swimming is planned at the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol. Continue cruising towards Hvar with lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands. Afternoon arrival followed by a short presentation of lavender products and a tour of the town’s historical landmarks. Evening at leisure in Hvar’s numerous restaurants, bars and cafe. Moor overnight in the port.
DAY 3 - HVAR - VIS
Early morning cruise towards Biševo to visit the Blue Cave (weather permitting). Continue to the island of Vis and visit Vis town. There will be time for some wine tasting in one of the traditional wineries and there is a lovely walk to the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Overnight in the port of Vis.
DAY 4 - VIS - KORČULA
Early morning departure towards the island of Korčula. There will be a stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays on the way. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this lovely town which is one of the best preserved in the Mediterranean. Optional excursion to a small village near Korčula for a typical Dalmatian dinner. Overnight in Korčula.
DAY 5 - KORČULA - MLJET
Cruise to the Island of Mljet. There is then a guided walk to the famous salt lakes in the National Park and a boat ride to the island of St Mary to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a 12th century church. Moor overnight in port Polača or Pomena.
DAY 6 - MLJET - SLANO/ STON
Departure for a Slano, a small village on the mainland and the starting point to Ston, another village famous for its oysters. There is time to explore the town’s medieval ramparts and a short coastal walk leads to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters. Return to the ship and moor overnight.
DAY 7 - SLANO – DUBROVNIK
Early morning departure to Dubrovnik, known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. On arrival cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls whilst lunch is served on deck. After docking, transfer to the Old Town for a guided walking tour of this atmospheric town. Take the cable car from the Old Town to Srđ Mountain to enjoy scenic views of the Walls and Elaphiti Islands. There is a Captain’s farewell dinner in the evening with entertainment and music. Moor overnight.
DAY 8 - DUBROVNIK
Breakfast and check out by 9am and transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight home or extend your stay in this magnificent walled city.
Please note: for reasons of navigational safety, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the cruise itinerary, which is beyond Orbital Travel's control.
Also, due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, ships are moored side by side, making it necessary for the clients to cross from one ship to another with gaps in between ships in order to get to the shore. In such cases clients need to take special care when crossing and do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it.
