Deluxe Cruise Dubrovnik to Split Itinerary

DAY 1 - SATURDAY - DUBROVNIK

Transfer from Dubrovnik airport to Gruž harbour for check in from 2pm onwards. Settle into your cabin and transfer to the city gates for a guided tour of the Old Town in Dubrovnik. Cable car from the Old Town to Srđ Mountain to enjoy the scenic views of the walls and the Elaphiti Islands. Return transfer to the ship for a welcome meeting and cocktail reception on board. Moor overnight in Dubrovnik.

DAY 2 - SUNDAY - DUBROVNIK – SLANO/STON 

Departure of the cruise towards Slano village on the mainland. The ship will cruise around Dubrovnik city walls before continuing to one of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen's village and starting point for Ston, a small village famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts a short coastal walk leads to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and there will be some tasting. Evening at leisure and moor overnight.

DAY 3 - MONDAY - SLANO - MLJET 

Cruise to the island of Mljet and enjoy a walk to the famous salt lakes in the National Park and a boat ride to the island of St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a 12th century church. Dinner on board and overnight in port Polača or Pomena.

DAY 4 - TUESDAY - MLJET - KORČULA 

Early morning departure towards Korčula. There will be a stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays en route. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls and one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Optional excursion to small village near Korčula for typical Dalmatian dinner and to learn about the history and traditional way of living. Moor overnight in Korčula.

DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY - KORČULA - VIS

Cruise to the island of Vis which has a special charm. Vis town, situated on the northern side of the island, is located near the remains of Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. There is the opportunity to do some wine tasting, visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Moor overnight in the port of Vis.

DAY 6 - THURSDAY - VIS – BIŠEVO (BLUE CAVE)

Early in the morning cruise towards the small island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (weather permitting). Continue towards the island of Hvar with a swim stop and lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands. Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic is known for its lavender fields and breath-taking beauty. Afternoon arrival followed by a short presentation of lavender products and a tour of the town including the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower. Walk up to the town fort overlooking the harbour for scenic views of the Pakleni Islands. Evening at leisure and moor overnight in the port.

DAY 7 - FRIDAY: HVAR – (BOL) SPLIT 

Morning departure to Brač Island where swimming is planned at the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol – whose gravel promontory shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change in shape. Continue to Split to enjoy a guided tour of the city upon arrival including the magnificent Diocletian Palace, once inhabited by the Roman emperor. After the tour of Split, return to the ship for the Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board. Moor overnight in Split.

DAY 8 - SATURDAY: SPLIT 

Breakfast and check out by 9am and transfer to Split airport for your flight home.

Please note: for reasons of navigational safety, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the cruise itinerary, which is beyond Orbital Travel's control.

Also, due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, ships are moored side by side, making it necessary for the clients to cross from one ship to another with gaps in between ships in order to get to the shore. In such cases clients need to take special care when crossing and do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it.
