DAY 1: LUXOR
Transfer from Luxor International Airport to your 5*hotel. Overnight stay in Luxor hotel.
DAY 2: LUXOR
Visit the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings where you will find Tutankhamen’s tomb which was discovered almost intact in 1922 and the tomb of Ramses IV, among others, and the Tombs of the Nobles, with hundreds of tombs embedded in the rock, often richly decorated with frescoes depicting the working lives of their inhabitants. There are about fifteen tombs that can be visited and one of the grandest tombs belongs to the nobleman Ramose. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 3: LUXOR
Visit the East Bank of Luxor to visit Karnak Temple complex. About thirty different pharaohs contributed to the building of the site, enabling it to reach a size, complexity and diversity not seen elsewhere. It was the New Kingdom's most sacred site. Visit the Museum of Luxor, with displays of pottery, jewellery, furniture, statues and stelae from the Theban temples and necropolis. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 4 LUXOR - ASWAN
Check out of hotel and transfer by road to Aswan. Check into your 5* hotel in Aswan. In the afternoon relaxing felucca ride. Overnight in Aswan hotel.
DAY 5: ASWAN
Visit Abu Simbel Temple, one of the most recognized ancient sites in Egypt. It contains two majestic temples, carved into a mountainside, and dedicated to Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Aswan hotel.
DAY 6: ASWAN
Visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. It is located in a beautiful setting, landscaped to match the original site of the temple when it was relocated by UNESCO after the building of the Aswan Dam threatened the site. Visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Overnight in Aswan hotel.
DAY 7: ASWAN - LUXOR
Check out of your hotel and transfer by road to Luxor (approximately 4 hours). Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 8: LUXOR
Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut dedicated to Amon-Ra, the sun god and designed by an architect named Senemut. The temple is unique because it was designed in a classical architecture style. Visit the Ramesseum and Medinet Habu, the Mortuary Temple of Ramses III, best known as the source of inscribed reliefs depicting the defeat of the Sea Peoples during the reign of Ramses III. Visit the Temple of Luxor, a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex with 4,000 years of and was built by two of the most famous Egyptian pharaohs - Amenhopis III and Ramses II, sometimes called the 'great builder'. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 9: ABYDOS & DENDERA
Visit the Temple of Seti I and the Osireion at Abydos. The Temple of Seti I has an unusual L-shaped layout with seven sanctuaries, approached through two broad hypostyle halls. Some of the reliefs decorating the walls of the temple are beautifully carved. Visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Dendera, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt with vividly coloured scenes and reliefs. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 10: LUXOR
Relaxing felucca cruise in the morning and afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
DAY 11
Check out of hotel and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight home.
