DAY ONE (MONDAY) - VILLIGILI
The Yasawa Princess will be anchored just off Villigili, a convenient 20 minute boat ride from Male international airport. On arrival you will be escorted to the boat’s private tender for your transfer. Check into your cabin, welcome briefing and introduction to your Yasawa Princess experience. This is an informal session where you will meet the other guests on board and the crew.
DAY TWO (TUESDAY) – NORTH MALE ATOLL
Depart from Villigili and cruise to Kuda Bandos which is an uninhabited picnic island in the North Male Atoll. The morning and afternoon will be spent on the island where you can snorkel off the house reef and relax and sunbathe on the white sandy beach that surrounds the island.
DAY THREE (WEDNESDAY) – SOUTH MALE ATOLL
Depart from Kuda Bandos and cross the narrow Vaadhoo Channel to a beautiful sand bank located in the South Male Atoll. The reef around this sand bank has beautiful coral and abundant marine life for snorkelling or you can simply relax on the beach. Beach umbrellas are provided (depending on wind conditions). Lunch will be served on the boat. Once everyone is back from the beach cruise to Maadhoo Finolhu for the night.
DAY FOUR (THURSDAY) - MAADHOO FINOLHU
Visit to Maadhoo Finolhu Picnic Island which is a full day’s excursion, starting at 10am and return to the ship at 4pm. A picnic lunch will be served on the island. There is plenty of shade on the island to relax on the beach and the island has a large lagoon and reef, ideal for snorkelling. You can try your hand at night fishing from 5.30 to 7.30pm using traditional hand lines with baits.
DAY FIVE (FRIDAY) – VAAVU ATOLL
Early morning cruise to the Vaavu Atoll and anchor off the Alimatha sand bank, located on the eastern edge of the Atoll. A large turquoise lagoon surrounds this sand bar which also has an attractive reef to snorkel. Morning and afternoon will be spent on the sand bank and lunch will be served on the Island. Umbrellas will be placed for shade (depending on wind conditions).
DAY SIX (SATURDAY) - VAAVU ATOLL
Short cruise in the morning to Vashugiri, a small picnic island located on the north western side of Vaavu Atoll. Easy access to the reef for snorkellers, huts and sun loungers are available on the island for beach lovers! Lunch will be served on the ship. In the evening there will be a Maldivian beach BBQ and the crew will set up dinner under the stars on the beach. This is a firm favourite and one of the most memorable evenings of the cruise; a great evening with superb food, drinks, music, and a spot of stargazing.
DAY SEVEN (SUNDAY) - SOUTH ARI ATOLL
Early morning cruise to cross the channel to the South Ari Atoll. The Oshagali Finolhu sand bank has many healthy hard corals which is especially good for snorkellers. In the afternoon there is a visit to a local island, Dhangethi, for an opportunity to experience island life.
DAY EIGHT (MONDAY) - ARIADHOO
Early morning cruise to Ariadhoo, an agricultural island. Guests on the cruise for 2 weeks will be going to the island for swimming and sunbathing. One week guests will disembark at this point to be transferred to Maamagili Airport and take a domestic flight back to Male.
DAY NINE (TUESDAY) – HURASDHOO
Cruise to Hurasdhoo, which is a small deserted island with a white sandy beach surrounding the island. It has a good house reef for the avid snorkeller. Beach umbrellas will be set up (depending on wind conditions). Lunch will be served on the island.
DAY TEN (WEDNESDAY) - RAIDHIGAA
This morning there is a short cruise to Raidhigaa, a picnic island with a natural harbour. The reef surrounding the island has an enclosed lagoon with two narrow channels for boats to enter. This island has a long white sandy beach on one end. Snorkellers can easily swim from the beach to deeper water. A picnic lunch will be prepared by the chefs and return to the ship at about 4pm.
DAY ELEVEN (THURSDAY) – MEERUFENFUSHI ARI ATOLL
Morning cruise to Meerufenfushi, a deserted island located in the centre of the Ari Atoll. The beach stretches out on one side depending on the monsoon and the surrounding reef is good for snorkelling. Morning and afternoon will be spent on the island. Lunch will be prepared on the boat.
Late afternoon crew will set up the evening BBQ dinner on the beach and after dinner there will be some entertainment.
DAY TWELVE (FRIDAY) - VELIDHU
Cruise to Velidhu Island Resort, a small, comfortable and relaxed holiday resort and an ideal spot for snorkeling in the magnificent house reef. There is a beachside restaurant and a bar. A buffet lunch, Spa and other facilities on this resort island can be arranged if booked in advance (pay locally).
DAY THIRTEEN (SATURDAY) - MAAYAFUSHI ARI ATOLL
Cruise to Maayafushi sand bank, a large sand bank located at the northern edge of the Ari Atoll. The reef has some lovely coral and marine life for snorkelling. Sun umbrellas will be set up for some shade (depending on wind conditions).
DAY FOURTEEN (SUNDAY) - MALE
There will be time for a last swimwith a stop at a sand bank before cruising back to Male’ which will take about 4 - 5 hours. On arrival it will be possible to visit Male island, the capital of the Maldives. Tonight will be the ‘Captain’s Dinner’”.
DAY FIFTEEN (MONDAY) - MALE
Breakfast on board before check out and transfer to the airport island.
