Danube River Cruises

This mighty historic river has many traditional towns lining its banks and villages nestling in its hills, medieval castles stand high overlooking picturesque countryside and well preserved fortresses protect its banks; a cruise is the perfect way to enjoy all that it has to offer.

One of the Danube’s most prominent cities is Vienna, capital of Austria.  This beautiful and vibrant city is a place of romance, music and history with medieval narrow streets leading to majestic architecture, including the Schonbrunn Palace. The city is famous for its cultural events, imperial sights, coffee houses, cosy wine taverns, and a very special Viennese charm. Our Danube cruise starts and ends in Vienna, cruises to Melk before heading south past Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, and visits traditional historic towns in Hungary which line the banks of the river.

Hungary’s beautiful capital city Budapest occupies both banks of the River Danube. Steeped in history, the city is divided into different districts and quarters listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, all unique in character with influences by Viennese and Parisian architecture.

The city has a wealth of medieval castles, baroque palaces, and beautiful parks. Our cruise starts and ends in Budapest and travels through some beautiful dramatic scenery while visiting Novi Sad, Belgrade, Turnu Severin and the Iron Gates Pass.
