Mena House Oberoi
Set in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. The Mena House Oberoi course is the most prestigious place to appreciate Egypt's glorious past while playing a unique round of golf. The course was built at the foot of the Great Pyramid in 1889. At the moment, it is a 2 x 9-hole course which is not the most challenging. There are plans to extend and improve the course during 2007/08.

Hilton Pyramid Golf Resort
Located on the outskirts of Cairo, only minutes from the Great Pyramids of Giza, the golf and tennis resort is part of Dreamland City, currently the world's largest private sector development. Featuring an 18-hole championship course which has narrow serpentine fairways winding around grassy mounds and lakes, which contrast against the golden desert sand and offer spectacular views of the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis Resort
Designed and built by a French architect in 1997, Katameya Heights sets new standards for golf in New Cairo, situated beween Cairo's Heliopolis and Maadi. The five star deluxe resort boasts 18 and 9 hole championship courses with every conceivable feature that a golfer would need.

J.W.Marriott Golf Resort
Designed by Peter Harrandine and completed in 1999, this 18-hole challenging championship course with 4 tees is set in idyllic surroundings amid palm trees, cacti and lakes.

Facilities: Open all year, Daily golf for hotel guests (J.W.Marroitt), visitors welcome, membership and handicap certificate required, Max Mens: 28, Max ladies:40. Dress code Smart Casuals - no jeans. Luxury club house, food and beverage on the course, pro shop, carts, caddies and club rental available, driving range and practice areas. Par 3 12th is the Signature hole.
El Gouna Golf
The Golf Club at El Gouna is a superb 18-hole championship course with five different tees where the winds (mostly from the North) can be a major factor. The El Gouna course was designed by Gene Bates and Fred Couples to be accessible to every level, from beginners to advanced golfers. Orbital clients can combine a stay in El Gouna, Hurghada or Soma Bay and play both El Gouna and the Soma Bay courses.

Tourist groups are welcome, handicap limit: 45, tee time reservation. Soft spikes only on course.

Cascades Golf Resort and Country Club Soma Bay
This course is a challenging 18-hole championship links course with 4 tees plus a 9-hole, Par 3 challenge course. Designed by Gary Player, the Cascades is the only links course in Egypt, which he described as " the next Pebble Beach". Soma Bay is well known for its beautiful beaches and its perfect temperatures in the winter ( 25C) and summer (35C).

Movenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh
This 18-hole Championship course with 4 tees and Par 3 Course was designed by John Stanford from Standford Associates, Florida USA. The Bermuda grass course has 18 lakes which attract a wide varity of exotic birds. The course itself has breathtaking views of the Red Sea, a clear blue sky, greenery and artificial lakes. The wind and the natural rock formations in the area make the course even more enjoyable.
