This recently refurbished five star Nile cruise boat has very high standards of service and comfort. The enterence deck boasts one of the most impressive enterance areas on the Nile with its beautiful staircase leading up to the accommodation levels.
The main restaurant is located on the lower lever leaving more accommodation on the upper levels. This five star Nile cruise boat has extensive facilities on board for all guests to enjoy while cruising down the Nile.
Ms Monica has a swimming pool on the top deck, ideal for cooling off after one of the tours around the historical sites. Or watching the world pass by as you sail down the historic Nile river.
All cabins have magnetic card entry and safe deposit boxs. Bathrooms are well appointed and include hair dryer, bath and shower.

Ms Monica Nile cruise 7 night itinerary
Day 1 – Wednesday
Met and transferred from Luxor airport to your cruise vessel, check into your cabin on board and freshen up for dinner, overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2 – Thursday
Early morning visit to the West Bank to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board then afternoon at leisure or take on of the optional excursions available. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 3 – Friday
Relaxing day as the boat leaves Luxor and sails south to the Esna lock and beyond to Edfu. Lunch and dinner on board during the sailing. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 4 - Saturday
Morning Visit to Edfu where you will visit the extraordinary Temple of Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. Here, according to myth, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father’s Brother Seth in combat. Lunch on board as the boat departs for Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 – Sunday
Visit the High Dam – finished in 1971; it has ensured up to three harvests a year. The Unfinished Obelisk – still rooted to the bedrock of pink granite and the Temple of Isis on Philae Island. In the afternoon, Relax and enjoy a trip in a traditional felluca around Elephantine Island which will lead you to the Botanical Gardens on General Kitchener island given as a gift in 1890. Evening Show with the Nubian dance troop. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 6 – Monday
*Optional excursion to the ancient wonder of Abu Simbel by road or air. Morning at leisure for those not taking the Optional Abu Simbel trip, a chance to lie in the sun, or wonder around the busy city of Aswan. Lunch on board while the boat departs for Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris and then onto Edfu for the night.
Day 7 – Tuesday
Morning sail back towards Esna and visit the partly excavated Temple of Khnum at Esna. Dedicated to the ram- headed god Khnum, who was the patron god of the cataracts, who is said to have fashioned mankind from Nile clay on his potter’s wheel. Lunch on board and sail to Luxor.
Afternoon, East Bank tour which combines a visit to Luxor Temple, originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes and Karnak temple which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the Temple of Amun. Evening the famous Belly dance show on board. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8 – Wednesday
Change over day - check-out. Transfer to Luxor international airport for your return flight to the UK.
Please Note: The order or content of your itinerary may have to be amended due to lock closures, low water levels or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Due to the increasing number of boats on the Nile, at some docking points boats are moored side by side obstructing the view from cabins.
General Information: Occasionally, due to operational difficulties a change of vessel can occur. However, the sightseeing itinerary will remain the same.
Traditionally, a tip is expected at the rate of £4.00 per person per night which includes coach drivers, bell boys, housekeeping staff, crew, bar/restaurant staff and all off the boat tipping. Additional tipping is not expected. Credit cards are accepted on board Ms Monica.
