This 5*  Nile cruiser was built to the same standard as the other boats within the fleet. The Nile Cruisers do have some minor internal colour scheme differences but have the same high quality of service and accommodation is evident throughout the fleet. 

The cruise is fully escorted by a qualified, English speaking Egyptologist who will be on hand to guide you through the historic sights. The guide will also be on hand to explain the culture of the Egyptians who depend so heavily upon the River Nile. 

Evening entertainment during the cruise is provided, the high points being the Nubian Folk night in Aswan and a traditional belly dancer in Luxor. Not forgetting the Galbiyya Party where guests are invited to dress in local costume and dance the night away. 

Dining options are varied in the elegant dining room with an extensive choice of International and Oriental cuisine which is offered buffet style.   

All suites on board are equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite facilities with hairdryer, internal telephone, safe, fridge and satellite television (when docked).

                     Nile cruise 7 night itinerary for King Tut III

Day 1 – Monday
Transfer from Luxor airport to your cruise vessel, dinner on board.
Wednesday arrival clients visit the East Bank with a visit to Luxor Temple, originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes. Then to Karnak Temple complex which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the Temple of Amun. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 – Tuesday
Visit to the West Bank to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon option excursion to a local village for Camel rides priced at £10.00. Overnight in Luxor


Day 3 – Wednesday
Clients arriving on Monday visit the East Bank which includes Luxor Temple, originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes and Karnak which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the Temple of Amun.  Wednesday arrivals in the afternoon then set sail to Esna and overnight.


Day 4 - Thursday
Morning departure to Edfu where you will visit the Temple of Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. Here, according to myth, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father’s brother Seth in combat. Then sail on to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris and then onwards to Aswan for the night.


Day 5 – Friday
Visit the High Dam – finished in 1971; it has ensured up to three harvests a year. The Unfinished Obelisk – still rooted to the bedrock of pink granite and the Temple of Isis on Philae Island. In the afternoon enjoy a trip in a traditional felluca around Elephantine Island which will lead you to the Botanical Gardens on General Kitchener island given as a gift in 1890. Here, visitors enjoy the beautiful flowers imported from Africa, India and the Far East. Evening Show with the Nubian dance troop. Overnight in Aswan.


Day 6 – Saturday
Optional excursion to the ancient wonder of Abu Simbel priced at £120.00 pp by air, or £70.00 pp by road. Morning free to explore Aswan city and markets.  Sail lunch time to Esna and overnight. Party night on board ship.


Day 7 – Sunday
Visit the partly excavated Temple of Khnum at Esna. Dedicated to the ram- headed god Khnum, who was the patron god of the cataracts, who is said to have fashioned mankind from Nile clay on his potter’s wheel. Navigate the lock at Esna then Sail back to Luxor.

 

Day 8 – Monday
Monday clients check out by 11:30 hours ready for transfer to Luxor international airport for your return flight to the UK. Optional excursion Balloon flight at sunrise priced at £70.00.

Please Note:
The order or content of your itinerary may have to be amended due to lock closures, low water levels or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Due to the increasing number of boats on the Nile, at major docking points boats are moored side by side obstructing the view from cabins.

General Information:
Occasionally, due to operational difficulties a change of vessel can occur. However, the sightseeing itinerary will remain the same.

Traditionally, a tip is expected at the rate of £4.00 per person per night which includes coach drivers, bell boys, housekeeping staff, crew, bar/restaurant staff and all off the boat tipping. Additional tipping is not expected. Credit cards are not accepted on board Nile Cruisers.
